Over VoclarionVoclarion is in 2003 opgericht met als doel een innovatief en open communicatie platform (VOIP) te ontwikkelen en leveren. Dat is gelukt en we innoveren en ontwikkelen nog steeds door. Een mooie en groeiende klantenlijst is onze beloning.
En, om deze mooie positie verder te kunnen uitbouwen zijn wij voortdurend op zoek naar nieuwe medewerkers, zo ook nu.
Bij Voclarion ga je aan de slag als medior developer. Samen met ons team ben je verantwoordelijk voor het steeds verder verbeteren van ons VoIP communicatieoplossing.
DE BAANDe komende jaren gaan wij investeren in nieuwe innovatieve verbeteringen van ons VoIP communicatieplatform. Wij willen onze back-end nog meer compatibel maken met nieuwe softwareversies en vervangen voor de nieuwste technieken.
Zo hebben wij onze GUI, die op PHP gebaseerd was, volledig opnieuw gebouwd in VueJS (front-end) en Django (back-end). We werken metCentOS als operating systeem. Jij kan je bijvoorbeeld bezig gaan houden met het verbeteren van de security van ons platform of het opnieuw bouwen of aanpassen van nieuwe innovatievefunctionaliteiten.
Als je voor Voclarion wil komen werken moet je het een uitdaging vinden om heel diep in de materie te duiken waarbij je alle vrijheid krijgt om het zelfstandig aan te pakken op jouw manier. Iets voor jou?
JOUW TEAMJe werkt in een team van circa drie developers in Nederland, dat wordt bijgestaan door een team hardcore developers van een zusterbedrijf, uit zowel Italië als Tsjechië. De voertaal hier is volledig Engels, dus dat moet je heel goed beheersen.
Wij gebruiken Gitea als versiebeheersysteem en Gerrit Review voor code review. We gebruiken Ansible voor implementatie, werken met Docker, en ga zo maar door. Je hoeft het niet allemaal te beheersen; je moet je er wel door geïnspireerd voelen. Ook moet je het tof moet vinden je code reproduceerbaar te schrijven en verantwoorden, en je moet iets van anderen willen leren.
Wij gebruiken ons Odoo ERP systeem en JIRA om gestructureerd en 100% taakgebaseerd te werken. We werken veelal in Kanban en in sommige projecten in scrum. Niet te veel tegelijk, niet teveel tussendoor, met een focus to get the job done.
Elke twee weken doen wij een stand-up waarin je in detail de gelegenheid hebt je kennis en ervaringen te delen. Ook bespreken wij daarin de voortgang van taken en de aanpak van taken die in het vooruitschiet liggen. Hieruit kun je al opmaken dat je vrij veel vrijheid krijgt en zelfstandig werken leuk moet vinden. Er is natuurlijk altijd gelegenheid voor overleg met je collegas; we gebruiken daarvoor Mattermost, een equivalent van Slack.

- Je kan zeer goed overweg met Linux (CL) onze software draait op CentOS
- Je beheerst de Engelse taal erg goed
