We are looking for a Service Sales Account Manager to join our team in the BeNeLux region (preferred in the area of Breda)

 

The Service Sales Account Manager is accountable for representing Vertiv and its corporate values whilst driving growth and profitability within assigned accounts (and/or) Region.

He/she is responsible for implementing the Vertiv Service sales strategy and working with peers, local Service organisations, and other internal functions to meet and exceed Customer expectations.

 

Essential Job Functions

 

  • Achieve and Exceed Service Sales targets for assigned Accounts/Region.
  • Maintain and expand existing relationships ensuring the highest level of Customer Satisfaction at all times.
  • Using the comprehensive range of Vertiv products and solutions, you will work directly with customers to provide vision and strategy to fit with their current and future requirements.
  • Work closely with existing and potential customers on Lifecycle Planning providing both technical and budgetary advice.
  • Define customer needs that support the Vertiv vision to drive additional opportunities that support pipeline growth with selected clients, end users and accounts.
  • Engage with stakeholders at senior level in major key accounts to drive full portfolio revenue streams
  • Anticipates Commercial and Technical needs, investigate underlying causes and identify short- and longer-term solutions 
  • Adhere to service sales pricing policies and quotation preparation arrangements to ensure consistency and a professional offering to the customer. 
  • Proactive liaison and negotiation with customers regarding follow up of outstanding quotations.
  • Analyse and interpret engineering reports and provide required customer recommendations.
  • Create and maintain Service Account Plans and Service Activity Plans both short and long term. 
  • Work with other business leads to ensure that sales opportunities are maximised across all LOB’s
  • Work with Marketing to increase market share in key sector areas and improve market awareness.
  • Contribute to the monitoring of the market, identify new business opportunities and propose and drive Service Action/|Account Plans.
  • Ensure that any activity, task and responsibility required is managed and performed in full compliance with the Company Code of Conduct and Trade Compliance.

 

What we're expecting:

  • Learn and perfect the Sales Order Management tools, processes and documentation to ensure efficiency whilst providing support to the existing Service Sales Account Managers within the region for a period of 6 months (primarily Internal role based out of  Breda ).

External (after 6 months training)

  • Contribute to teamwork and knowledge sharing inside the team and organization: maintain and update reporting systems, run scheduled and ad-hoc analysis, participate in team meetings and share your experiences, share new knowledge you gather about the market, competitors and challenges you perceive we face.
  • Focus on self-growth and development: keep an open mind and learn from some of the best experts in the company and the industry, participate in Vertiv meetings and events to acquire knowledge of where the market is going, keep up to date with technical developments, participate in company trainings and apply the knowledge in your day-to-day work;
  • Be innovative: bring your own ideas of improvements inside the team, look at each process and task with the goal of constantly improving it to bring more value to the customer, to you, the team, and the organization;
  • Own their job: approach your daily work and customers with ethics, responsibility, discipline, and ownership, knowing that everything you do has an impact on the customers, the company, and your development. Sales activities, related administrative activities, reporting and your own development are all important and lead to your success in the role.

 

Job Qualifications:

 

  • Min 5 years proven track record in management of Service Sales
  • Excellent Business Negotiations skills and relationship builder
  • Highly developed communication skills 
  • Market Competitor Knowledge would be an advantage
  • Account Management, Selling, influencing, negotiating and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work proactively under own initiative, as well as in a team environment
  • Self-Starter mentality with the ability to plan, organize and manage time effectively
  • Team player with the ability to organize and motivate yourself
  • Strong experience in building relationships with customers
  • High level of goal orientation and a solution-oriented way of thinking and acting
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience in working in a matrix organization with remote support teams
  • Customer focused with excellent customer service skills
  • Language skills: Dutch &   English at advanced level
  • IT literate and advanced MS Office & CRM skills  
  • Driving License

 

Working conditions :

  • Regular travel is required (50%)
  • Travel, occasionally requiring overnight stays
