Your new employer is PostNL, the postal company ofthe Netherlands. Every day, PostNL processes fifteen millionletters and packages that need to be delivered throughout theNetherlands. Everyone in the Netherlands is a PostNL customer As amail sorter, you will participate in the logistics process behindsending mail.

Workinghours

You are a real nightowl and that comes in handy in this position Working hours arebetween 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM. You will be scheduled to work duringthis time. An average shift lasts 3 to 5 hours

It is important that you are available atleast 15 hours per week An average shift lasts 3 to 5 hours.Because it depends on how much work there is at PostNL, the numberof hours you can work can vary per week.

As a mailsorter you are responsible for mechanically sorting national mail.This is a physical job, because you work standing and regularlylift heavy boxes of mail. It is also important that you can workaccurately, because the mail must be delivered to the correctaddress
 
What’s in foryou

  • Gross salary: Age21+ €13,68 -  Age20  € 11,08 – Age €19 10,18 -  Age18 €9,28 – Age 17 €8,23 
  • Reimbursement oftravel costs in accordance with PostNL regulations
  • Pension accrual via Manpower 
  • Access to over 200 courses through theManpower Academy
  • Part-time job of 15 to 25 hours a week 
  • Temporary employmentcontract with Manpower
  • Irregularity surchargeof 20% for working between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM, and 40% forworking between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM

Functie-eisen
  • Good command of the Dutch and/or English language, inconnection with the safety instructions and for communication
  • Availability of at least 15 hours perweek 
  • Able to apply for a Code of GoodConduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag or VOG) at your localmunicipality 
  • Own transport, for themorning, evening and night shifts
