Bachelor internship: DWH Systems Analyst Intern

Job description
Investigate and setup the solution for a system that manages reference data and data lists that will be the source for the DWH.
PFE uses a DWH with source systems for reporting. In the reports build on the DWH classifications, categorisation’s and lists of data are currently, not always available in the source systems. Examples of reference data and data lists are finance type categories, statuses, exchange rates and forecast figures.
The requirement is that assigned business users should maintain this data. This should be done in one system/environment with user access control. This system should be a new source which can be added to the DWH.
New lists will be added by the IT department, based on the reporting requirement by the business.

Your profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic intern with the following skill set.
Education: HBO/WO student who is pursuing a degree in fields such as IT or business administration; You have strong analytical skills and the ability to pick up and learn new IT Programs; Basic knowledge of:a DWH;Sharepoint;Microsoft Excel; Language skills: English (written and verbal) and preferably Dutch; Competencies: Communication skills, teamwork skills, organisational skills, time management, problem solving; Preferred period of the internship 4-5 months.
Department
PACCAR Financial Europe (PFE) provides financial services to DAF dealers and end customers to support the sales of DAF trucks. PFE is part of the worldwide PACCAR Financial organisation, has its headquarters in Eindhoven at the DAF premises and is active in a large number of European countries with its own sales offices and used trucks centres.
The PFE Information Technology department is responsible for the development, configuration, testing and deployment of innovative IT-solutions, management of these systems during their lifecycle and support of the users of these systems. PFE-IT consists of appr. 30 fte. of which 20 are internal and works according to the agile framework. Most of the systems are subject to SOx-regulations.
PFE contains 4 lines of business areas: Wholesale Financing to DAF-dealers, Retail Financing to End Customers, Short Term Leasing and Asset Management & Used Trucks Remarketing. The Retail Financing systems landscape has been renewed recently and a new state-of-the-art systems landscape for Asset Mgt. & Used Trucks Remarketing is currently under development as part of a large IT-project. Other projects are already planned.
