We are looking for a Planner & Stock Controller for our Terminal in Moerdijk. This role offers the opportunity to efficiently translate customer requirements and available resources into practical strategies. In addition, you will have the responsibility of managing inventory and conducting detailed investigations into any discrepancies that may occur.

Stolthaven Terminals a division of Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL), is the specialist storage provider for bulk liquids: Chemicals, clean petroleum, gases, vegetable oils, biofuels and oleochemicals. We are continuously seeking how we can add value for our customers.

What will you be doing

Organizing all operational activities according to customer demand. For example, MOT's, transfers, and various other operational activities. You will ensure that maintenance outages are seamlessly integrated into the operational planning process, considering any operational limitations that may affect customers. 

Key Responsibilities  

Efficiently coordinate all operational initiatives, considering available resources such as vessels, vehicles, rail, drumming, and warehousing. Improve operational planning to maximize efficiency and effectiveness by optimizing the use of time, resources, and infrastructure. Interacting with a diverse range of external parties, including agents, carriers, shipping companies, and inspectors, to facilitate the smooth registration of ships/barges. Stock control: ensuring precise management of inventory and efficient handling of stock updates. Ensure tank readiness by efficiently coordinating the process tank/product change and overseeing the cleaning and preparation of the tank, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed promptly. Work closely with Customer Service to ensure clear and effective communication regarding any potential customer impact.

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. At least 5 years of experience in relevant role, with knowledge of terminal layouts. Experience in storage and treatment of chemicals and bulk liquids is a plus. Excellent command of Dutch and English, both in verbal and written communication. Strong analytical and communication skills. Knowledge of TankMaster will be considered a plus.
