Working hours
PostNL'ssorting center in Amsterdam operates 24 hours a day for mailprocessing. Your shifts will be scheduled based on PostNL'sworkload, which can vary from week to week.

Employment agency Manpower is looking for postalsorters for PostNL in Amsterdam.

As a postal sorter, you will ensure that mail items aresorted correctly, allowing the postal worker to deliver them to theright addresses. During your shift, you will be responsible for thefollowing tasks:
  • Entering letters into sortingmachines
  • Moving bins with mail, which maysometimes be quite heavy
  • Removing mail fromthe machines
  • Placing mail according to thecorrect postal code

Functie-eisen
  • If you are applying for the evening or night shift, youmust be at least eighteen years old. The morning shift is possiblefrom the age of sixteen
  • Availability for atleast three shifts per week (more availability is a plus)
  • Good command of the Dutch and/or Englishlanguage, as this is important for safety in the workplace
  • Physically fit as you may need to liftmailbags weighing ten kilograms
  • Own transportto commute to PostNL's work location in Amsterdam
