Master Graduation Project: Artificial Intelligence driven Pricing Rules

Job description
We are looking for a Master Graduate Student who can propose ways for the creation data-driven pricing rules for PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE). PPE manages more than 400,000 aftermarket spare parts, which all need to be priced. Preferably, pricing a spare part is based on a set of pricing rules. However, creation of those pricing rules (per product category) is a time consuming process and depends on the experience and knowledge of multiple subject matter experts.
PPE would like to explore possibilities of creating these pricing rules with the help of machine learning (like neural networks).
Your profile
You are a Master Graduate Student in the area of Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Economics or similar; Good knowledge of MS Office, SQL, Phyton, R, Matlab; Able to perform complex analyses to propose ways for the creation of pricing rules with the use of Artificial Intelligence machine learning, neural networks etc.); Good command of the English language, spoken and written.

The Pricing & Positioning department is part of the Marketing department of PACCAR Parts Europe. The department consists of 4 Pricing Analysts and 1 manager and is responsible for determining, implementing, monitoring and maintaining retail prices, discount structures and dealer purchase prices for more than 400,000 aftermarket spare parts in markets both in- and outside Europe.
