Bij ons krijg je als Medior Mendix Developer dé baan met inhoud, uitdagingen en met kansen om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen als persoon en als developer. • je met collega’s en teamleden van de klant, werkend in een Scrum DevOps teamsamenstelling, graag innovatieve en technisch uitdagende apps maakt;
• je het belangrijk vindt om jezelf continu persoonlijk en technisch te blijven ontwikkelen;
• je het leuk vindt om je collega’s te helpen zich verder te ontwikkelen;
• je zelf de ambitie hebt om het beste uit jezelf te halen en de beste Mendix developer te worden.

Jouw rol in ons team

Als Medior Mendix Developer ga je bij CGI, middels intensief samenwerken binnen je Scrum DevOps team, werken aan verschillende Mendix-projecten. Je werkt binnen een multidisciplinair team samen met teamleden van de klant en met je collega’s aan het (her- of door-) ontwikkelen van bestaande of nieuwe Mendix apps voor onze klant.

Hierbij begeleid en adviseer je, samen met je team, de klant bij de vertaling van hun bedrijfsprocessen naar nieuwe of hernieuwde innovatieve maar soms ook complexe Mendix-apps. Je ontwikkelt daarbij continue nieuwe functionaliteiten door optimaal gebruik te maken van de mogelijkheden met Mendix binnen het gestelde applicatielandschap, alsook door het toepassen van Mendix best practices.

Zodoende creëer je sneller meerwaarde voor deze klant en de (eind-)gebruikers van deze (nieuwe) Mendix-app.

Daarnaast blijf jij jezelf verder ontwikkelen middels het volgen van trainingen bij onze CGI Academy en door de persoonlijke begeleiding van een van je senior/expert collega’s. Daarbij blijven we elkaar continu uitdagen en bijscholen met kennis op ons vakgebied door middel van gezamenlijke kennissessies, teammeetings en informele bijeenkomsten.

Hoe jij ons team versterkt

Je beschikt over goede communicatieve en sociale vaardigheden en met een sterke, natuurlijke overtuigingskracht weet je de verschillende stakeholders, maar ook je teamleden, voor jouw ideeën te winnen. Je bent daadkrachtig, doortastend, innovatief maar ook een teamspeler die samen met je team gaat voor het behalen van ‘het juiste’ resultaat. Je hebt een proactieve klant- en resultaatgerichte instelling.

Verder vragen wij:
Een afgeronde (technische) HBO/WO-opleiding, bij voorkeur in bedrijfsinformatica;
• In het bezit van een Mendix Advanced Developer Certificaat, ouder dan 12 maanden
• Aantoonbare werkervaring opgedaan binnen diverse klein- en grootschalige projecten bij verschillende klanten;
• Bij voorkeur 5 jaar ervaring in IT en minimaal 2 jaar ervaring als Mendix developer
• Bereidheid tot begeleiden en coachen van minder ervaren collega’s;
• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal in woord en schrift.
Met als pré’s voor deze functie:
• Aantoonbare werkervaring met het toepassen van SOLID principes, Mendix best practices en algemene codeer- of software engineering standaarden;
• Affiniteit met user experience design, want we willen natuurlijk dat de apps er goed uitzien en blijven zien;
• Bekendheid met de security aspecten van het Mendix platform, zoals entity access, (user)rol configuratie en vulnerability detection;
• Affiniteit met (Mendix) testing frameworks, zoals Mendix unit testing, Robot framework en Playwright;
• Aantoonbare werkervaring met databasemanagement, bij voorkeur PostgreSQL
• Aantoonbare werkervaring met data-/ service-integratie processen middels REST, SOAP en/of OData, zowel functioneel als technisch;
• Praktische kennis van en werkervaring met CI/CD op Cloud platformen zoals MS Azure, CloudFoundry en AWS;
• Aantoonbare werkervaring in Agile / Scrum teams en/of Scrum DevOps teams.

Als Medior Mendix Developer ga jij werken bij de unit Softwarehuis binnen de sector Ministry of Infrastructure and Water. Deze sector bestaat uit meer dan collega’s. Met collega’s in andere sectoren binnen dezelfde business unit houden wij ons bezig met vitale infrastructuur van Nederland, zoals transport, wegennet, water(wegen), spoor, gas, elektriciteit, telefoon- en datadiensten.
