As Senior Accountant you will play a vital role in the success of our organization by managing the financial resources and providing the necessary information and analysis for informed decision-making. Kraton is a leading company in the Chemical industry, dedicated to providing sustainable and innovative solutions that improve the lives of our customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the General ledger of several legal entities, ensuring smooth reporting and exceptional analyses for our internal clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage monthly close activities or IFRS including book journal entries and preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations (level 1-level 3). Provide Financial analysis required for monthly financial reporting package submitted to the HQ office. Preparation and completion of statutory books for the EU legal entities assigned Support line manager for the establishment of internal control system. Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders for SOX internal audit. Work with external service provider to fulfill the compliance requirement from authority, e.g., corporate tax, foreign exchange control, statistics etc. Support on internal and external audit Prepare IFRS/Local GAAP/Tax GAAP reconciliation for corp. tax purpose.
Required Skills
Over 10 years working experience in Accounting/Finance Department At least 5 years working experience in the international company ERP experience (SAP) is required Experience with Microsoft Office is required (Excel, Word, Power point) Strong English communication skills (verbal and writing) Job requires strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders Team player Ability to work in the international environment Must be a proactive problem solver Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines

Education, Certifications & Licenses
Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance Requirement: authorized to work in the Netherlands - If not a EU citizen, in possession of a NL work permit
