As Senior Electrical Engineer with Equans in Veldhoven you will be responsible for the engineering of diverse electrical building installations at the project location of our customer ASML. Equans and ASML are long-term partners and together with other parties we build multidisciplinary new build and renovation projects at ASML. You will work on different non-residential and light-industry projects and make sure that engineering questions are handled in a proper way.

The composition of the engineering team will change dependable on the scale and complexity of the projects. Because of this variation in composition, you will work together with different engineering colleagues of other disciplines and Equans-regions. Together you ensure coordination between the various disciplines within the project.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for:

  • engineering of complete electrical installations such as: energy distribution, emergency power, light, power, and weak current installations.You are responsible for the concepts, the detail engineering and will advise colleagues of the construction teams where necessary.
  • translation of the wishes of the (internal) customer into definitive designs concerning the electrical installations.
  • ensuring that you and your design team make a final design that meets the wishes of the customer, quality standards and requirements from laws and regulations. You have a keen eye for sustainability, feasibility, and ease of maintenance. In addition, you consider the project and maintenance costs for the customer.
