For the European fleet, Mammoet possesses large cranes, heavy transport materials and multiple varieties of lifting and transport equipment. In general, this multimodal lifting and transport equipment are being transported by road or over water to a location somewhere in the world. In both instances, this transport is almost completely outsourced.
For road transport, we are looking for an enthusiastic Transport Coordinator to support our Transport Planners and Customs Coordinators. In this role, you make sure that the administrative tasks are performed accurately and that all supporting logistical processes are streamlined.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Your main responsibilities will be to support our Transport Planning and Customs Coordinator teams from an administrational side in daily operational activities, such as:
Reviewing transport requests and making sure all information and documents that are required are available. Adding transport requests to the in-house planning tool. Planning and subcontracting of transports Processing transport orders in our ERP system (SAP): creating purchase requisitions, maintaining contact to budget owners for a timely release, creating purchase orders for vendors and processing invoices.Other tasks can include:
Updating and maintaining our master database of vendors, frame agreements, saving records and evaluations. Evaluating vendors on an annual basis in consultation with the planning team.WHAT YOU’LL NEED
At minimum mbo-3 education Being interested in logistics, especially road transport is an asset Strong communication skills (Dutch and English) Drive to achieve the best commercial results Ability to prioritize and work meticulously and organized Stress-resistant in case of higher workloads, but also tolerant towards low-workload periods Eagerness to learn and develop within the organization
