As a DevOps Engineer, you will:
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines and Terraform to support Enterprise scale Azure projects.
  • Lead Azure cloud infrastructure projects, including migrations from on-premises to Azure, ensuring optimal integration and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to promote DevOps culture and practices within Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain robust infrastructure as code (IaC) environments, leveraging Azure services and technologies to meet business and IT requirements.
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance system reliability, performance, and security within large enterprise banking IT environments.

What You Bring to the Table:
  • A higher education degree in IT, complemented by 5+ years of Azure cloud infrastructure experience.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer working on Enterprise scale Azure projects.
  • Demonstrable expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) utilizing Azure Pipelines & Terraform.
  • Experience with designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with Azure cloud services including Azure SQL Database, Azure Application Gateway, Azure Firewall, and Azure Networking.
  • Proficiency in English, with Dutch language skills is considered a strong advantage.
  • A solid understanding of the banking industry’s business processes and objectives, particularly in large enterprise IT environments.

You Should Possess the Ability to:
  • Navigate complex Azure Platform Management/Governance, Azure Monitor, and identity management using Azure AD.
  • Implement and manage Azure security features, such as Azure Application Gateway & WAF, Azure Firewall, and Azure Defender.
  • Utilize development and scripting tools including .NET, PowerShell, and bash to automate and streamline operations.
  • Apply best practices in cloud infrastructure security and compliance, leveraging tools like TFSec, TFLint, and TFDocs.
  • Adapt to evolving technologies and learn new tools as required, with a keen interest in Azure Container Apps, Kubernetes Service, Elastic Search, and Docker.
