Our client in Amsterdam is the leading provider ofspecific analytical inspection systems used for the analysis ofpharmaceutical products. The team in the Netherlands consists of 35people serving the pharmaceutical industry. In this role you willbe part of the Technical Services sub-team consisting of two FieldService Engineers and a Global Field ServiceManager.
FunctieomschrijvingAs Senior Field Service Engineer your primaryresponsibility is to coordinate the European Technical Serviceactivities, and contribute to the development and execution of theEuropean Technical Service strategy. Besides managing and guidingthe Field Service Engineers, you also participate in the teamyourself by providing competent technical product support atcustomer locations all over Europe. Your keyrepsonsibilities:
- Coordinate complexpurchase and installation of analytical systems at the customersite, including system setup, user training, andqualification;
- Customer technical supportincluding resolving complex troubleshooting, repairs andmaintenance;
- Coordinate onsite measurementprojects in collaboration with Sales and Laboratorystaff;
- Participate in change reviews relatedto critical issues, and approving quality documentation
- Monitoring European Technical Services team targets andreporting of team progress to the Global Technical ServiceManager
- Training of (new) colleagues onTechnical Service tasks
Forthe position of Service and Support Engineer, we are looking for aenthusiastic candidate with strong technical affinity, peoplemanagement skills and the ability to work effectively with withmulticultural customers.
- HBO degreein Chemistry or related field
- At least 5 yearsof relevant experience as a Field Service Engineer or TechnicalProduct Specialist, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry (orrelated)
- Experience with cGLP/cGMP is aplus;
- Strong people and project managementskills, experience in a leadership role is a plus;
- Ability to communicate complex technical details totechnical and non-technical specialists;
- Possession of a valid driver’s license andpassport;
- Place of residence in or nearAmsterdam and you are permitted to work in TheNetherlands
- Willingness to travel withinEurope up to 30% of working days;
- Fluentinterpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) in Englishand Dutch. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Long term position, which starts with acontract for one year directly at the hiring company
- Salary indication starting from € 3300,- gross a month,depending on experience
- Work week of 40hours
- Day-shift
