Job Description
This role is part of the Tech Strategy & Planning team within the Global IT department. The Lead EA for SC & Industry 4.0 drives and communicates a master architectural plan for our Supply Chain & Manufacturing functions globally. This role sets & governs the architectural patterns that align business, data & technology, with the goal of enabling JDE’s strategic pillars: Serve more cups, Master execution and Grow together .
The responsibilities include:
Define the technology archetypes that enable the digitization of our end-to-end supply chain: From raw materials to finished products for our customers. Collaborate with IT and OT leadership to guide and support the IT/OT architectural convergence towards Industry 4.0 Work closely relevant stakeholders to facilitate and ensure the adoption of the right architectural choices Articulate, communicate, and evaluate the value proposition of the architectural plan Coach, mentor and collaborate with Solution Architects and technical SME’s Proactively identify opportunities for modernization, rationalization, and simplification
Qualifications
We are looking for a experienced enterprise architect with a drive for excellence. Someone that holds themselves accountable and doesn’t shy away from responsibility. Given the nature of the role we feel it's important for you to have a certain level of seniority as well as a solid understanding of your own added value. We thrive in diverse teams and look for people that appreciate that as much as we do. We can give you a list of “must haves,” however that’s not how we view your candidacy. We do, of course, take into consideration how much experience you have with Strong technical knowledge & experience in Cloud, Network, API’s, D&A and IoT technologies and Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management principles, including procurement, manufacturing, inventory management, demand planning, logistics, and but ultimately, we look at the bigger picture. But to give you a bit of guidance as to what we feel is needed in this role, we’ll share our “nice to have” list with you:
Strong knowledge of the CPG, FMCG or Manufacturing industry 5+ years of experience as Enterprise Architect for an international organization Good understanding of Operational Technologies (ICSs, PLCs, SCADA, DCSs) Excellent communication & presentation skills towards both technical and nontechnical audiences
