Working hours
The workinghours in this full-time position of 40 hours per week are duringregular office hours.

For thisrole, Dow works with a hybrid model where they combine working fromhome with working from the office. The expectation is that you worka minimum of two days a week from the office and more often when itis required (for example, when you have trainings ormeetings).

The main task isproviding day-to-day logistics support, expertise inarranging transport and managing logistics issues. Nextto that we come across situations that require exception-managementskills and a problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities/Duties
  • Follow up on customer requirements to ensure on-timedelivery and lowest cost-to-service product transportation to thefinal destination
  • Monitors LogisticsService Providers on performance
  • Ensurestimely processing the administrative flow of the inbound andoutbound process
  • Responsible forsolving transactional failures
  • Closecollaboration with Logistics Service Providers,taking appropriate action in case ofnon-compliances and supports logistics Quality Measureresolution
  • Verifies iflogistics capacity versus demands can bematched (including special requests)
  • Responsible for accuracy of logistics data andaccurate logistics charges
  • Managesnon-standard orders, changes and exceptions requiring differenttransport arrangements
  • Checks, approves andbooks (additional) logistics costs in system timely

Functie-eisen
  • At least vocational (MBO) level of thinking andworking
  • An excellent command of the English(at least level C1-level)
  • Experience inlogistics would be considered a plus
  • Availability of 40 hours per week
  • A Dutch work permit that is valid for at leastnine months or an EU-nationality
  • A certificateof conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag or VOG) that shows you havenot committed any criminal offences

The critical competencies required for success are:understanding customer needs, team work and collaboration, takinginitiative, time management, attention to details and multipletasks, interpersonal effectiveness, communication, technicalproficiency in use of computer applications. Excel knowledge, ECC(SAP) navigation.
