What You’ll Do

As a Senior Tactical Purchaser Raw Materials, you’ll lead procurement projects from specification to contracting. Collaborating closely with departments like R&D and Production, your responsibilities will include:

Competitively sourcing chemical raw materials used in Royal Smit & Zoon products; Maintaining relationships with suppliers and internal clients; Exploring new raw materials and suppliers; Leading commercial negotiations for price, quality, and delivery terms with various suppliers; Proactively analyzing processes and suggesting improvements; Serving as a key user in the ERP system; Performing associated administrative tasks.

Your Profile

You possess a Bachelor’s degree in economics, commerce or equivelant. Knowledge of (bio)Chemistry or Life Sciences is advantageous; You bring at least 3 years of relevant experience in chemical raw material procurement; Your English (and preferably Dutch) verbal and written communication skills are strong; You’re market-savvy, you excel in negotiation. You’re proactive, resilient, and persistent; You have ample Excel experience; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus; You’re available for 32-40 hours per week.
