Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized inproject support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industry. Weprovide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management,Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

Functieomschrijving

• Administer the packages of theelectrical engineering group.
•Uses technical knowledge to perform engineering assignments andproduce a range of electrical engineering deliverables (includingmore complex tasks) with limited guidance and direction from moresenior technical professionals.
• Develops a range of electrical engineeringdeliverables, including specifications, calculations, reports,technical requisitions, material requisitions andothers.
• Ensure thatElectrical Engineering activities are executed according to theproject procedures, specifications and standards, good engineeringpractices and techniques, and any project-specificrequirements.
• Supervise theday-to-day (if any) engineering interfaces between PMC coreengineering group, Project Management team and the engineeringteams assigned to the EPC package – includes interaction with allother specialist disciplines as required.
• Participate in design reviews and engineeringchanges with customer and EPC contractor as necessitated by designdevelopment and ensure core team are made aware ofthese.
• Participate in keycustomer reviews and meetings as required.
• Participate in project reviews, valueengineering and value improvement workshops with customer /contractor.
• Participate in(Global) meetings and reviews.
• Input engineering procedures and work practicesin conjunction with Core Electrical Lead asappropriate
• Responsible forestimating electrical discipline manhours and schedule requirementsin production of deliverables, coordinates own work schedule, andprepares progress reports.
•Review vendor documentation.
•Carryout Site Surveys and develop site surveyreports.

Functie-eisen

• Degree in relevantdiscipline.
• Minimum of 10years’ experience in major oil / gas refinery / petrochemicalprojects in the capacity of senior electrical engineer withengineering contractor / PMC organization.
• Fully familiar with international codes,standards and recommended practices to be adopted during EPC phasesof oil / gas projects.
• Musthave the capacity to supervise and manage EPC Contractors anddevelopment of detail design deliverables.
• Must have proven ability to contribute duringdevelopment of electrical system studies.
• Fluent English is a must, knowledge of Frenchand Dutch is a plus.
•Experienced in the use of appropriate codes of practice, standardsand relevant sections of statutorydocumentation.
