At some companies, as a (PHP) developer, you end up doing the same thing over and over again – quickly building something and then immediately moving on to the next client. At iO, things are truly different. As a developer at iO, you actively think along with the client and are involved in everything from strategy to delivery. Not only that, but you also handle optimization and further development. You achieve this by building Drupal applications for large organizations such as Jaguar Land Rover, Erasmus University, and the Municipality of Breda. This means no two weeks are the same, and you work with your team to build long-term relationships with your clients. You do this in a Scrum team of back-end developers, front-end developers, (interaction) designers, software testers, and DevOps engineers. Together with your colleagues, you create the best solutions for the client. Repetitive work? That's not for us. You constantly build new things, depending on what generates impact for the project you're working on.

As a PHP developer specializing in Drupal , you contribute to complex API integrations, interesting data processing tasks, or create robust solutions for business-critical processes. All of this is focused on the (end) user, considering all possible edge cases. You write self-explanatory code following the latest standards. The CMS system Drupal is incredibly versatile , offering countless combinations and possibilities, creating a challenging and sometimes complex environment.

Your knowledge in web development is important, but we also find it even more crucial to know who you are. Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with your colleagues? Great Together, you inspire each other to reach the next level. You can participate in Expert Groups or lunch & learn sessions, and various other knowledge-sharing sessions are regularly organized.

Your qualities and skills as (PHP) Drupal

You have at least 3 years of work experience with PHP, You live in the Netherlands and you are able to be at our Campuss at least twice a week (e cannot provide a visa sponsorship), You have experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony, Preferably, you have experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), Preferably, you have experience with object-oriented programming (OOP), You enjoy working collaboratively in a team to achieve the best possible results. #LI-CharlieMulder #LI-Hybrid
