Internships - Marketing 


Country: Netherlands
Location: Schiphol 
Location type: Hybrid 
Start date: September 2024 
Duration: 5-6 month
Hours per week: 32-40 hours (in consultation/ flexible)


We are looking for engaging  diverse students that are willing to join our team for a 5 or 6-month internship starting September 2024 (start date flexible). Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, show willingness to learn and is not afraid of challenges. Our internships allow students to be fully immersed in meaningful work that impacts the future of the business. To be successful in the role our interns must be self-starters who are willing to drive innovation to win as a team.

 

Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and driven intern to carry out distinct marketing activities in the consumer-packaged goods space ranging from product to consumer. Throughout this project, you will receive support and guidance from our team, coupled with the autonomy to work in a manner you find most effective.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise research platforms and tools to study consumer behaviour. Identify consumer preferences, perceptions, and needs.
  • Assist the team in early-stage product development by creating positioning strategies for different markets.
  • Evaluate strategies used by competitors and assess consumer perceptions of their products compared to metal.
  • Analyse collected data and create visually engaging reports to communicate research findings.
  • Offer regular updates and insights to the team, fostering open communication and knowledge sharing.

Requirements for the Job:

  • Bachelor’s degree from university in marketing or business. Must be pursuing (or planning to pursue) a master’s degree in a related field.
  • Strong written communication skills in English. Fluency in Dutch and German is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong eagerness to learn and actively participate in a multicultural team.
  • Familiarity with market research methodologies and tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to conduct interviews and build a network.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and a proactive approach to challenges.

 

Competencies:
•    Demonstrated competence in the use of software tools for data extraction, manipulation, analysis and presentation (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint)
 

In order to be eligible for an internship, you must:

•   Be a student for the whole duration of the internship (enrolled in a university/higher education institution)
•   Be available for a 5-month (or longer) fulltime internship starting September 2024
