Senior Robotics Engineer

At our Breda facility, medicines are labelled, assembled, stored, and shipped to various countries around the globe. Our diverse team of over 1000 people from 42 different nationalities is engaged in supply chain processes, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and clinical research.

What you will do

As a Senior Robotics Engineer, you'll be a key player in our Digital Innovation Engineering team. You'll bring brand new technical solutions to the shop floor, improving process efficiency and quality. Collaborate with Agile Product Teams, Engineering Project Teams, and senior leadership to develop compelling use-cases that improve manufacturing operations. Engage in prototype building and testing for new technologies beyond your expertise.

In this role, you will:

  • Identify and develop automation and robotic use-case applications.

  • Stay updated on industry trends in Robotics and Automation.

  • Develop process solutions to technical problems, enabling new equipment and technology.

  • Collaborate with various functions to develop machine automation and robotics use-cases.

  • Apply extensive engineering knowledge to diverse assignments.

  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and engineering firms on solution development.

What we expect of you

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The robotics and automation professional we seek is a strong innovator with these qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with a focus on Robotics, Mechatronics, and Artificial Intelligence.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Engineering, Operations, or Manufacturing. Preferably in a pharmaceutical / GxP or other highly regulated environment.

  • Hands-on experience with Robotics brands (ABB, Fanuc, Universal Robots, Kuka, etc.) and a willingness to experiment and test.

  • Direct experience in implementing Automation and Robotic applications.

  • Proficient in project management and preferably familiar with the Agile Scrum framework.

  • Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
