Mechatronic Design Engineer Mobile Robotics

- Design and develop mechatronic systems,such as control systems, sensing systems, and actuation systems forARMs.
- Help out with the integration of themechatronic systems with the overall robot system.
- Develop algorithms for controlling the motionand behavior of the ARMs.
Validatethe performance and reliability and ensure growth and improvementsby:
- conducting tests and simulations• Ensuring requirements and specifications are met and ensuring asmooth implementation.
- Staying up to date withindustry trends and advancements in mechatronics technology.
- Optimizing processes to meet up with theincreased product volumes, while ensuring interchangeability andcompatibility.
REQUIRED
- BSc or MScdegree in Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Atleast 3 years of experience in mechatronic engineering or a relatedfield, preferably in the autonomous mobile robot industry.
- Knowledge of control systems, robotics, andmechatronics. • Familiar with working with sensors, actuators, andother mechatronic components.
- Skillful inprogramming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB.
- Excellent communication skills.
PREFERRED
- Experience with SolidWorks and itsPDM/PLM systems.
- Knowledge of EPlan.
- Design experience specifically with AMRs.
- Experience using Finite Element Analysis (FEA)tools to verify designs.
