Production Planning Manager, Snacks

  • Generate weekly MPS by plant by brand by SKU for the whole in-house manufacturing plants or for BCW business
  • Optimize supply route to better fulfill customer needs and minimize cost impact
  • Coordinate with internal Supply Chain team to optimize production volume across the plants
  • Coordinate with LD&T Logistics team and Dispatching Supervisor on plant-to-plant freight plan
  • Capacity collection/review/evaluation for in-house manufacturing plants and MP plants and LTCP management
  • Direct communication with each plant as contact window between BU and OU
  • Generate MP production and dispatching planning
  • ISCP system data maintenance, analysis, reconcile, daily/weekly report checking, safety stock/route parameter maintenance
  • Weekly DPP MPS communication with plants and alignment for next week production
  • New launch/DM products/FT 1st shipment arrangement and tracking
  • Forecast review with BU Sales Planning team
  • Weekly/monthly/AOP production plan report and IBP deck preparation.
  • Quick response on Sales/MKT/TM projects and reflect those into weekly production plan to better support business growth
  • Be flexible and backup person in the team to support business contingency
  • Dispatch planning leader and People management, including PMP, interview, training/coaching, etc.
  • Support and lead digitalization projects to improve working efficiency.
  • Collaboration with GBS team on planning optimization
    Responsibilities
    • Weekly generate the detailed production demand (by plant by SKU) to integrate with weekly brand level production plan and share with plant planners/ for detailed scheduling arrangement and update on each Monday
    • Consider all the constraints of line capacity/holiday impact/MOQ/potato/material stock/unstable shipment trend, unbalanced DC stock, top account’s DM demand to maximize the supply and minimize cost impact.
    • Timely adjust DC supply routes and work closely with logistics team to achieve cost effectiveness and productivity.
    • Arrange pre-building and coordination with all plants and engineering team on new line/machine maintenance and automation projects.
    • Join in innovation/promotion project meetings to better support new product launch and share project progress with team members for execution.
    • Understand material planning logic and arrange production finetune for material issue.
    • Lead weekly supply chain meeting to share supply information with MU team for their action taken
    • Set prioritization to quickly response on supply planning inquiry from Sales planning/Trade Marketing/Marketing/Finance/MU sales/Plants.

      Qualifications

      Education:

      • University Graduate
      • Preferred major in Planning, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Computer Science, Statistical, etc.

        Experience:

        • At least 5 years of Supply Chain planning experience in FMCG company
        • At least 3 years of management role to lead a team

          • People Manager

            Language Proficiency:

            • Excellent written & spoken in Mandarin and English
            • Business English language capability

              Computer Skill:

              • Fluent on Microsoft Office, especially for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
              • Be familiar with ERP system, preferable experience with SAP
