Als Application Support Engineer ben je de technische expert op de toepassing en installatie van Caterpillar marine motoren binnen het Pon Power portfolio.
Je helpt collega’s van andere afdelingen bij het beantwoorden van technische vragen tijdens de cyclus van verkoop tot en met garantieperiode van de klant. Je bouwt technische kennis aangaande onze producten op. Je staat collega’s bij in het oplossen van application & installation vragen gedurende de gehele cyclus. Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor direct contact met de technische support afdeling(en) van onze toeleveranciers. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor zaken aangaande certificering. Je signaleert de ontwikkeling en introductie van nieuwe producten en informeert je collega’s hierover. Je ondersteunt accountmanagers en projectmanagers technisch bij bezoeken aan onze klanten. Je bereid je voor op nieuwe technologische ontwikkelingen en regelgeving. Wat vragen we van jou Een afgeronde HBO opleiding werktuigbouwkunde, mechatronica, autotechniek of vergelijkbaar. Kennis en interesse van motoren, stromingsleer en thermodynamica is een pre. Je hebt goede communicatieve vaardigheden in de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel in woord als geschrift. Je bent kwaliteitsgericht, weet problemen te analyseren op basis waarvan je een goed oordeel kunt vormen, neemt initiatieven en bent resultaatgericht. Affiniteit met de maritieme sector is een pre.
