Senior Hydraulic Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join our Central Fleet Support Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the quality assurance of our fleet and the application of technical innovations.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze hydraulic problem definitions and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure effective solutions.
- Develop technical concept designs and write functional specifications to meet client needs.
- Supervise basic and detailed engineering to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Monitor progress during engineering and work in progress to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct technical inspections of designs, documents, and drawings to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Organize and lead executive activities at foreign locations to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage and integrate hydraulics-related activities during project commissioning to ensure seamless delivery.
- Share responsibility for official acceptances, sea trials, and final delivery of assigned disciplines.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Maritime Technology.
- At least five years of experience in the maritime and/or dredging sector in hydraulic installations.
- Experience in independently designing installations and carrying out troubleshooting on board.
- Complex specification and budget experience, as well as tender processes at shipyards, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Experience in managing internal and external parties to ensure realization, commissioning, and aftercare within specifications, on time, quality, and budget.
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel globally on a flexible rotational basis.
