Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Cyient. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for investigating, analyzing, and pursuing corrective and preventive actions for Landing gear products and system quality problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and analyze quality problems to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement quality improvement plans to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
- Drive supplier quality management activities to ensure compliance with client control procedures and regulatory standards.
- Liaise with Receiving/Inspection team and Supplier Quality team to resolve supplier non-conformance issues.
- Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) to ensure timely processing of nonconforming materials.
- Prepare reports and presentations to summarize supplier data and make recommendations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (8-12 years of manufacturing experience will be considered).
- Excellent reporting and writing skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Access and Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role in the aerospace industry.
- Knowledge of AS9100 and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Ability to work in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams.
