We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join our Central Fleet Support Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our fleet's hydraulic installations.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and coordinate hydraulic problem definitions with stakeholders.
- Develop technical concept designs and functional specifications.
- Supervise basic and detailed engineering, including budget calculations.
- Monitor progress during engineering and work in progress.
- Conduct technical inspections of designs, documents, and drawings.
- Organize and lead executive activities at various locations.
- Manage and integrate hydraulics-related activities during project commissioning.
- Share responsibility for official acceptances, sea trials, and final delivery of assigned disciplines.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Maritime Technology.
- At least five years of experience in the maritime and/or dredging sector, with a focus on hydraulic installations.
- Experience in independently designing installations and troubleshooting on board.
- Complex specification and budget experience, as well as tender process knowledge at shipyards, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Experience in managing internal and external parties to ensure project realization, commissioning, and aftercare within specifications, on time, quality, and budget.
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel globally on a flexible rotational basis.
