About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join our Central Fleet Support Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the quality assurance of our fleet and the application of technical innovations.

You will be responsible for analyzing hydraulic problems, coordinating with stakeholders, and creating technical concept designs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design and development of hydraulic systems
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Creating technical specifications and budgets
  • Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely completion
  • Conducting technical inspections and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Leading executive activities at foreign locations
  • Managing and integrating hydraulics-related activities during project commissioning

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Maritime Technology
  • At least five years of experience in the maritime and/or dredging sector in the field of hydraulic installations
  • Experience in independently designing installations and carrying out troubleshooting on board
  • Experience with complex specifications and budgets, as well as tender processes at shipyards, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Experience in managing internal and external parties to ensure project realization, commissioning, and aftercare within specifications, on time, quality, and budget
  • Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written
