The Damen Academy is part of the Learning and Development department within Damen. The Academy is responsible for the training curriculum. We define, design, and implement Damen training programs (or procure them externally) to ensure that all employees have the license to work and acquire the skills, knowledge, and capabilities to perform better in their roles and within teams. The Role

As a coordinator in the Learning and Development department, Damen Academy, you are the cornerstone of the organization that ensures smooth and effective planning, development, and management of our training and educational programs. You serve as a point of contact for administrators worldwide and play an active role in further developing this network. Key Accountabilities

You manage the daily operations of the Damen Academy, determining the training calendar with key stakeholders, and make it available in the LMS (future Workday); You act as a point of contact for trainers, teachers, participants, and other stakeholders; Collaborating with internal and external partners, you optimize training programs; You manage the administrative processes around training and educational programs and focus on setting up and efficiently managing budgets for the Academy; You evaluate the effectiveness of programs and training by collecting and analyzing feedback; You implement improvements to make processes more efficient and/or effective. Skills & Experience You have completed a bachelor's degree, preferably in a relevant field; Experience in a similar role within the training domain is a plus; You are organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask well; Communication is one of your strong points, and you can convey information clearly in both Dutch and English; You are customer-oriented but also keep in mind whether the request is realistic or feasible; Technical skills are not an issue for you, and you can quickly learn to work with new systems and tools; You have an affinity for learning and development, and you believe in the value of lifelong learning.
