As a Product Designer at Just Eat Takeaway.com, you’ll be working alongside a team of product designers in both the Netherlands and the UK. More widely, you'll be part of a global design community of over 175 product designers, service designers, researchers and writers.
You’ll need to think end-to-end, and be confident designing across the entire journey, whilst advocating for users every step of the way.
We love exploring problems in-depth, and regularly speak with our users to understand their needs and validate what we’re working on. You’ll be part of an empowered cross-functional team that prioritises this research and uses data to help understand the problem space, before moving through the design process to deliver engaging and user-centred solutions.
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
- Delivering end-to-end solutions that covers the entire problem space, and user touchpoints
- Ability to empathise and understand our users key challenges,, and design innovative solutions to overcome these challenges.
- Create thorough user flows and user journeys, and bring your ideas to life to effectively conceptualise and communicate detailed interaction behaviours, be that using wireframes, visual design mock-ups and prototypes.
- Design across the entire product lifecycle from concept to delivery; creating documentation, wireframes, hi- & lo-fi prototypes and pixel perfect UI.
- Work with wider product teams, such as co-creating with Product Managers, or understanding viability and assuring the quality of releases with Engineers.
- Collaborate closely with our team of UX researchers.
What will you bring to the table?
- Previous experience working with digital products in a design-based role
- Figma proficiency, with experience using this to design and prototype.
- Experience with design systems would be a plus
- Mobile-first mindset, and experience designing for mobile web / app-based experiences would also be a plus
- Fluent English language skills, both written & spoken
- Proactive mindset, and confident decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills, and collaborative mindset
