We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Business Analyst to join our EMEA Regional Logistics Team, encompassing Transportation, Warehousing, and Trade Compliance/Import Export Management across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This pivotal role not only integrates into a high-performing team but also oversees three remote colleagues, fostering collaboration and driving strategic initiatives with a dotted-line reporting responsibility.

Your role

Join our EMEA Regional Logistics Team as a Sr. Business Analyst, bridging Finance, Logistics, Analytics, and Stakeholder Management. This role offers significant growth opportunities within our Supply Chain Management organization.

You'll manage financial budgets, including accruals, actuals, and forecasts, while leading the value capture process. Engage in key projects, implement new tools, and drive continuous improvements. Oversee value capture and efficiency initiatives across Air, Ocean, Road, and Courier transportation, and serve as a backup for the Regional Transportation Manager EMEA.

Primary responsibilities

  • Identify and monitor variances between actual costs and forecasts; recommend improvements to management.

  • Own the monthly accrual process and provide commentary on actuals vs. forecasted budget numbers.

  • Support freight bill audits with the Freight Bill Auditing provider and collaborate with transportation suppliers.

  • Prepare annual and quarterly EMEA Transportation budget forecasts and create financial models.

  • Coordinate with the finance team and other sites to review financial information and align costs.

  • Lead projects on Value Capture and Cost Avoidance in consultation with Director EMEA Logistics & AD Transportation.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Finance.

  • 6 years of experience in SCM, Logistics, and/or Finance.

  • Expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills; strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting.

  • Proven ability to generate reports, analyze data, and provide strategic recommendations.

  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, MS Access, ERP systems, and related technologies.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines; proactive and initiative-driven.
