Finance Director

As the Financial Director, you will assume responsibility for overseeing the financial administration of our operations in the Netherlands and Belgium. You will lead a team of financial professionals and play a pivotal role in providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's objectives.

Description

* Provide accurate financial reports and interpret financial information to support decision-making at the management level.

* Offer strategic advice on investment activities and recommend actionable strategies to optimize financial performance.

* Maintain the financial health of the organization by analyzing costs, pricing, sales results, and overall company performance against business plans.

* Develop financial trends and projections to inform strategic decision-making and support long-term planning.

* Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.

* Oversee the operations of the finance department, establish goals and objectives, and develop frameworks to achieve them effectively.

* Manage the preparation and monitoring of the company's budget, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.

* Collaborate with auditors to facilitate timely and accurate financial audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

* Engage with cross-functional teams to align business plans and negotiate agreements to support future growth trajectories.

Profile

* Proven experience in the financial sector, with previous roles such as financial analyst or equivalent.

* Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

* Strong leadership capabilities, with the capacity to manage, mentor, and empower a team of financial professionals.

* Proficient understanding of financial statistics, accounting principles, and industry best practices.

* Thorough knowledge of relevant legal laws and regulations governing financial operations.

* Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and make data-driven decisions to drive business outcomes.
