The Sr Director HR, EMEA - Commercial & Customer Careâ¯is responsible will be accountable for end-to-end HR leadership for the EMEA commercial organization and serve as the primary strategic business partner to the VP, EMEA and VP Customer Care.â¯The Sr Dir HR will join their commercial leadership team(s) where applicable and will be responsible for driving the HR planning and execution aligned to global and regional business and HR priorities (with emphasis on talent management, leadership coaching, organizational design, DE&I, employee engagement and creating a world-class associate experience).â¯Â  Reporting directly to the Sr Director HR, EMEA Commercial & Customer Care will be the HR Commercial Business Partner Organizations in EMEA; the leader will also have matrix leadership of other Centers of Excellence.⯠As such, the leader will interface effectively with relevant business and HR (commercial) leaders to maximize both global, regional, and local opportunities and create a high-performance working culture to enable the business to achieve its ambitious performance and people objectives. â¯â¯Â 

 

This position is part of the Commercial HR team and will be located in Amsterdam/London, Hybrid (or hybrid to EMEA office). At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions. 

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: 

·        Provide leadership to direct reporting HR members and participate as member of the HR Commercial Leadership Team serving as a representative of HR leadership globally, creating opportunities for coaching and collaboration across the HR organization.  

·        Serve as lead HR partner for the VP Commercial EMEA and the VP Customer Care EMEA joining as a member of their senior leadership teams to provide the strategic direction in organizational design, talent management and other key people initiatives; serve as subject matter expert to align people programs globally. 

·        Serve as an integrated part of the business, working with and influencing business leaders to make data-based decisions to further talent progression in pursuit of overall business strategic goals.  

·        Support the global functional HRBPâs with HR support in the EMEA region. 

·        Identify the need for HR programs and strategies to support business objectives and collaborate across the commercial HRLT to deliver in the areas of organizational development, performance management, organizational design, DE&I and employee engagement.  

·        Lead the development and execution of transformation initiatives,â¯managing change across multiple departments and functions to achieve strategic goals.  

 

The essential requirements of the job include: 

 

·        Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience OR masterâs with 8+ years of experienceâ¯Â 

·        5+ years people leadership experienceâ¯Â 

·        Strong track record leading in a matrixed HR team.â¯Â 

·        Strong data-driven approach to analysis and decision making with the knowledge and ability to interpret and develop key insights from available data to drive strategy. 

·        Strong work ethic and personal integrity; engender trust and influence all levels across matrix.â¯Â 

·        Strong executive presence with ability to command respect and gain credibility through exercise of sound business judgment, clear decision-making, and excellent communication.â¯Â 

 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

·        Having experience within the healthcare industry is preferred.â¯Â 

·                  Able to work flexible schedules to accommodate global work teams.â¯Â 

·                 40% travel may be required.â¯
