Description
We are looking for an ambitious and driven young professional interested in joining the accounting & reporting group at the Head Offices and who is interested in supporting the further development of Infinitas' growth strategy. In order to achieve this we have been transforming the group finance team to be a true value-adding partner guiding, supporting and steering the local businesses on their challenges around reporting & financial control.
The Group Finance team is a young and specialized team that consists of an Accounting, Reporting and Tax team and a Business Control team. For this position, you will report to the Group Reporting and Accounting Lead and be part of a talented, specialized core team consisting of two Financial Controllers.
As the new Financial Controller, your main responsibility will be ensuring that all periodic reporting requirements are met: support in the consolidation of the monthly management accounts and the annual financial accounts. Instrumental in the quarterly IFRS reporting to our parent NPM Capital and SHV. Support in ensuring IFRS compliance on complex accounting issues. Be involved in the annual audit and provide support in various accounting and compliance projects. You work closely with the local finance teams by guiding them on the deliverables and supporting them in improving the reporting and accounting issues.
Due to Infinitas Learning's ambitious growth strategy and focus on operational excellence, there is an ongoing focus on process improvements and digitalization. Bringing a natural tendency to utilize the potential of tooling to simplify your work as well as improve financial processes, we expect you to initiate and/or participate in several improvement projects. Not only focusing on optimizing SAP BPC but also implementing new tooling (Power BI).
What do you do?
- Supporting in the consolidation assuring timely and accurate monthly reporting to stakeholders
- Working with the local finance teams in the countries on reporting and disclosure compliance and implementing additional disclosures to align with SHV reporting
- Reviewing & analyzing the reporting of the corporate entities and preparation of the budget and latest estimate reporting
- Involved in managing the audit process of the group and the relation with the auditor
- Supporting tax accounting including involvement in transfer pricing discussions and implementation of Pillar II requirements
- Contribute to and participate in various corporate group-wide projects to strengthen the finance function.
- Involved in post-merger integration of newly acquired companies
- Linking pin between Group and financial teams in the countries for accounting & reporting-related topics.
- Drive digitalization and optimization of financial processes utilizing the potential of existing tooling (SAP BPC), and support in the roll-out of new tooling (i.e. Power BI)
Profile
We are looking for a proactive, analytical and ambitious financial who would like to work in a fast-growing, international and private equity-backed business. You have a strong finance background, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a business approach and you drive continuous improvement.
- Master's degree in Finance, (Business) Economics or Accounting
- Minimal 4-6 years of experience as an Auditor within the Big 4 (Transaction Services / Audit) or as a consultant (M&A)
- Familiar with IFRS accounting & reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint (and preferably PowerBI).
- IT savvy: interested in IT systems (ERP / consolidation tool/dashboarding)
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Pragmatic, "can do and will do" approach
- Interested in challenges and can do mentality to resolve issues
- A great team player who acts on their initiative and is comfortable taking on responsibility.
Job Offer
- Salary between €65,000 and €85,000 per year, including holiday allowance.
- Personal Choice Budget: 12% of your gross monthly salary (8% holiday allowance + 4% additional). This can be used for extra days off, FiscFree, payment as gross salary, etc.
- Profit-sharing bonus: dependent on company performance and personal objectives.
- 23 holidays based on a 40-hour workweek.
- Travel Allowance: You are eligible for a travel allowance if you live more than 10 kilometers from our office, or you can opt for an NS Business Card (2nd class).
