About Polychrome

Polychrome is a holding company that acquires, grows, and holds a portfolio of B2B software companies. Since launching in 2020, we have acquired five companies (Flagsmith, Browserless, Checkbox, Terrateam and Marker.io) and are growing them profitably to fuel additional acquisitions. After raising money from leading investors, we have the resources to hire an experienced SEO Director to drive growth and best practices across the portfolio. The goal of this role is to codify and implement best practices across our growing list of companies to drive organic and consistent growth.

*This role can be filled remotely OR on a hybrid schedule based in our Amsterdam offices.*

This role will report directly to one of the founding partners and work closely with our portfolio company marketing teams and founders on a daily basis. Day-to-day activities will include establishing and improving existing processes for consistent growth through Analytics Analysis, On-Page and Off-Page SEO and Content Strategy to drive tangible revenue growth. This is a critical role that leverages proven experience in SEO to craft and implement the playbook on organic traffic growth.

What the job involves

  • Strategy Execution - As the SEO Lead at Polychrome, you will be instrumental in partnering with teams across the portfolio to both stand up and improve best practices that drive proven outcomes.
  • Prioritization - You will look at the set of projects across the portfolio and prioritize your time and efforts by the impact that it will unlock vs. what is currently in place today.
  • Reporting & Analysis - You will ensure that all of the teams across the portfolio are able to measure and understand the critical metrics for organic traffic growth each and every day.
  • Context Shifting - One day you will be working with a team on getting started with SEO and the next you will be thinking of creative strategies that can be applied across the portfolio.
  • Special Projects - From time-to-time, we will identify an effort that can truly unlock growth for a specific business or across the portfolio. You will be tasked with leading these projects and working with partners to make it work.

Requirements

  • Proven Approach. Minimum of 5 Years of hands-on, repeatable SEO/Organic Experience.
  • Data Driven. You have deep experience optimizing websites based on analytics.
  • Competitive. You want to win at outranking the competition
  • A builder. You enjoy building functions and processes from 0-1 and taking ownership of unstructured problems.
  • Organized. You will be managing 5+ brands and are able to keep things on track and moving to completion.
  • Curious. You can't stop learning about new ways to make things better and run smoother.
  • B2B SaaS Expertise. B2B SaaS Experience Required, Developer Tools is a big plus.
