Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at Imec, a leading research and innovation hub in nanoelectronics and digital technologies.

About the Role

In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of various ASML machines. You will work closely with our technical teams to diagnose, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced equipment, ensuring continuous uptime and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather essential insights, assess complex situations, and implement creative solutions guided by a supportive and experienced team
  • Perform both preventative maintenance as well as solution actions to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
  • Coordinate and secure resources to ensure all tools and materials are readily available when needed
  • Document and report technical activities to ensure effectiveness and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Follow a tailored program and collaborate with various colleagues to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably (but not exclusively) in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, automotive, electronics, physics, mechatronics
  • You completed your education less than 2 years ago or will be fully graduated before March 2025
  • Maximum 2 years of relevant working experience

  • Proficient in interpreting technical specifications and schematics
  • Flexibility to adapt in dynamic environments
  • Sense of ownership and accountability for tasks and responsibilities
  • Positive and encouraging attitude that fosters teamwork and drives solutions
  • Ability to nurture relationships and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English

Salary: Competitive salary package with additional benefits including meal allowance, car commuting allowance, international training, and more.

Shifts: This position requires mandatory shift-based working schedules including weekend/nights support – in which case applicable shift allowances and overtime allowances apply.
