Packaging Specification Officer

We are looking for a Packaging Specification Officer to join an international Food production organization in Wageningen. As the Packaging Specification Officer, you will support the team with various activities and administrative tasks related to packaging specifications.

You will be part of the packaging specification team managing the packaging specifications of low-cost packaging formats for the Nigerian market, the next-generation Global Infant Formula packaging format for Friso, the new sustainable packaging solutions for liquid carton packaging for western Europe, or the new packaging for condensed milk in Asia.​​​​​​

This specifications team is a group of 9 enthusiastic colleagues who operate in an international community with 50+ colleagues from 12 different countries. The specification team is based in Wageningen.

Your responsibilities will also be:

• Prepare new specifications in the specification system;
• Execute administrative processes related to packaging changes;
• Monitor and make adjustments/corrections in the specification management system;
• Support more senior colleagues in providing data, information, and reports;
• Support the continuous improvement process of procedures and specification systems and work with the team to strive for the best standards.
