Mechanical Technician

As a Level 4 Mechanical Technician with a background in plumbing, you will handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical installations within utility construction. You will work on a variety of utility projects, such as office buildings, schools, hospitals, and government buildings. Your role includes ensuring efficient installation and maintenance of water and pipe networks, heating systems, and sanitary facilities.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Independently install, test, and commission mechanical installations.
• Perform maintenance, service, and repairs on HVAC systems, water and gas pipes, and sanitary facilities.
• Analyze issues and resolve malfunctions in mechanical installations.
• Assist in designing and optimizing mechanical systems.
• Interpret technical drawings and diagrams to perform tasks according to specifications.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients on-site to complete projects according to schedule.
• Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with safety regulations.
  
  

• MBO level 4 diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Installation Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in utility construction with a background in plumbing or pipe installations.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, water pipes, and sanitary facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Independent work ethic and problem-solving skills.
• Holder of a VCA certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Valid driver's license (Category B) and willingness to travel within East and Central Netherlands.
