Currently, we are looking for a Financial Controller for ASML. Based in Eindhoven Netherlands.
We are looking for a professional who naturally thrives on standardizing, simplifying, and automating processes to keep End-to-End (E2E) business operations fully in control.
Your Mission

In line with these advancements, ASML has launched its transformation to ASML Business Services (ABS), designed to deliver world-class transactional and operational support organized around E2E processes. In Finance, we’ve structured these E2E cycles into Record to Report, Invoice to Pay, Market to Cash, and Employee Financial Services.
To achieve our vision, we seek a skilled Financial Controller to join our Finance Operations team, focusing on System and UF Sales accounting and associated processes. In this role, you will bring hands-on expertise and a pragmatic approach, ensuring accurate accounting, driving continuous process improvements, and supporting our transition to a new ERP system.
This is a dynamic role in an internationally oriented environment. You’ll be instrumental in our team’s transformation, delivering a world-class, end-to-end Record-to-Report process that maintains external compliance and enhances management accounting for more effective decision-making.
Position in the Organization
The Financial Controller - Finance Operations Sales Accounting is part of Finance Operations Europe within ASML Business Services. Financial Operations is responsible for the ASML wide E2E accounting processes, supporting the business and providing management reporting as well as ensuring external compliance. They interact with various departments and layers in and outside of finance.
Team Responsibility
In collaboration with the team, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring appropriate accounting (US GAAP, IFRS & local statutory).
- Ensure proper and timely execution of sales related accounting for ASML products (systems and options). Maintain and control related balance sheets.
- Supporting the accounting and reporting related to complex contracts.
- Monitor the execution, progress and balance positions related to volume price agreements using SAP, Spotfire, Mendix and SAPRAR tooling.
- Perform period end close activities.
- Proactively seek for continuous improvements in the execution of activities, improving efficiency and quality.
- Driving compliance and performing internal (SOx) control activities.
- Develop and demonstrate strong understanding of the sales processes, reflected in the reports, analysis and commentaries provided.
- Being the key user for certain processes and systems.
Functie-eisen
We are looking for an ambitious and talented Financial with the following:
- You have 5+ years relevant experience in finance, preferably in a financial control or auditing environment;
- A Master’s degree in Finance, Controlling, Economics or Accounting;
- Experience in working in an international, multinational environment. Having an audit experience in one of big 4 audit firms is a plus;
- Experience with executing SOx controls;
- Knowledge and experience with US GAAP and IFRS;
- Expert user in Microsoft Excel and experience in SAP;
- Experience in process mapping and process redesign.
- Fluency in English. Knowledge of Dutch is not required but useful in communication

- Salary range of €4000 - €5200 depending on work experience
