Are you a motivated and results-driven individual looking to grow in business development? We are seeking a (Junior) Business Development Manager to build and manage commercial relationships within a designated area in the Netherlands (Amsterdam and Utrecht regions).

About the Role:

The primary focus of this role is to expand a retail network by engaging with potential partners, onboarding new clients, and maintaining strong relationships. You will spend most of your time in the field, working closely with businesses to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire new business partners through cold outreach and follow-up on assigned leads.
  • Oversee the onboarding, setup, and training process, providing ongoing support.
  • Retain and manage a portfolio of retail businesses, ensuring strong relationships and continued transactions.
  • Develop long-term partnerships to drive engagement and revenue growth.
  • Spend approximately 80% of your time out of the office, actively engaging with business partners in your designated area.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Dutch and business English.
  • Valid work and residence permit for the Netherlands.
  • A valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and hands-on approach.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while being a team player.
  • Comfortable with a field-based sales role.
  • Based in or around Amsterdam or Utrecht.
