Summary

Our Client have been successful in being awarded a 1st generation Global MSP program for a major client within the Energy Renewables sector. This position is responsible for managing the MSP 3rd party suppliers and vendors engaged with supporting the MSP Program.

The position holder's key responsibilities are to facilitate onboarding of new suppliers and oversee compliance activities of the MSP suppliers which include securing and maintaining supplier agreements and coordinating supplier audits with the PMO team. To develop, maintain and improve relationships with key suppliers supporting the MSP program.

Principal job duties & responsibilities:

  • To develop, maintain and improve relationships with key suppliers supporting the MSP program.
  • Supplier on-boarding and assistance with contract negotiations for the MSP Program.
  • Deliver training and provide guidance to ensure suppliers are set up for success.
  • Responsible for the active management of suppliers and apply Corrective Action Plans in conjunction with the PMO team as required.
  • By utilising data to identify trends, deliver continuous improvements to maximise our value and minimise risk in our supply chain.
  • Evaluate Supplier performance through supplier score carding, provide coaching and support to ensure successful program fulfilment.
  • Act as an escalation point for system, invoicing, hours queries.
  • Provide recommendations to the PMO on supplier optimisation.
  • Supplier contract and data collection and validation for the MSP Program.
  • Coordinate supplier set up with back office and account.
  • Monitor and review certificates of insurance.
  • Support in identifying and evaluating new suppliers where required.
  • Coordinate supplier audits, review supplier audit paperwork and report on findings with the PMO team.

Required experience & skills:

  • MSP experience essential.
  • Excellent communication, planning and organisation skills with high attention to detail are required for success in this role.
  • Experience of working with suppliers/3rd Parties.
  • Procurement or contracting experience.
  • Recruitment experience.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management.
  • Risk Management.
  • Business Insights.
  • Judgement and decision making.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
