This company is an ironing factory based in Lelystad. The clothes that get ironed in this factory get delivered in boxes and they will be put on to hangers, they will then go through the ironing/steaming machines. When this process is done the clohes get packed in plastic by a machine and the products will be loaded in to the trucks. The trucks will bring them to the warehouse where they will be shipped to the stores.

Functieomschrijving

In the role of a logistics operator you will be managing your team and making sure that the process runs smoothly.
Your resposible tasks will be training, motivation and functional leadership of your team.

As a logisitcs operator your tasks will be:

  • Picking orders, scanning, packing, counting the products and other tasks within the warehouse;
  • you will train the new colleagues;
  • you will be communicating with the warehouse manager;
  • maintaining a safe work environment for your team, resolving employee relations issues and taking corrective actions;
  • you will work with the warehouse systems SAP and WMS;
  • operate the steam/ironing and plastic machines;
  • you will report improvements;
  • you are the one who is responsible for the progress of the operational process.
Functie-eisen
  • At least 2 years experience within logistics;
  • able to work in shifts and weekends;
  • your strong in communicating;
  • you have experience as a team leader for at least 1 year;
  • you can speak, write and understand the English language.
