Functieomschrijving:

As a Kitchen Assistant at our client Meta in Amsterdam, you are the face of the company restaurant. Guests know who you are and feel at ease. You ensure that the dishes are prepared on time and presented appealingly.

Your main duties are:

  • Preparing lunch on time;
  • Performing cashier duties and keeping the workplace clean;
  • Adhering to HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety;
  • Welcoming and serving our customers hospitably; a friendly chat makes their experience extra special.
Where You Will Work

You will be working in the company restaurant of Meta. The location is visited daily by Meta staff. The working hours for the company restaurant are from 07:00 to 15:00, Monday to Friday. It is a cozy and close-knit team where you will work with 4 other colleagues. The location is easily accessible by bike and public transport.

At Food&i, we are a team of food enthusiasts dedicated to artisanal food and drink at the office. We believe in fresh food prepared with love and tailored specifically for our guests. The needs of the guests are central to us. Food&i makes corporate catering pure, healthy, and sustainable. At Food&i, we approach corporate catering differently. We offer you a challenging and varied job in a dynamic organization

Additionally, you will receive:

  • A gross hourly wage starting at €13.27 according to the catering collective labor agreement (Part B);
  • A 7month contract for hours per week with the prospect of a permanent position;
  • Travel allowance from 11 km to a maximum of 40 km;
  • 25 vacation days based on fulltime employment and an 8% vacation allowance;
  • A good pension scheme and the possibility to participate in collective (health) insurance.

Wie je bent:

You are a catering employee with a passion for healthy and sustainable food and drink. You are naturally hospitable and can easily switch between different tasks.

Additionally, you have:

  • Preferably 1 year of work experience in the hospitality or catering industry;
  • Preferably knowledge of HACCP guidelines;
  • Proficiency in the English language.
