W Hotels doesn't hire, we identify Talent. W Amsterdam, situated at Spuistraat 175, is looking for a Style Supervisor. In a conventional hotel, this role would be known as Housekeeping Supervisor, but we strive for exceptional. Join our Style Team, responsible for ensuring the entire hotel shines and the design is always on point. Because at W, style matters.

Main responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading and supervising style talent during their duties
  • Managing daily operations of the Style Department, contributing to making guests' dreams a reality
  • Becoming an expert on our rooms, laundry room, public areas, and hotel facilities
  • Setting up the team for success and ensuring service standards are met from start to finish
  • Providing personalized Whatever/Whenever service to guests and creating memorable experiences
  • Adapting to rotating shifts, including busy weekends and evening/nights
  • Collaborating with various departments and acting as a liaison between Style, Engineering, Welcome Desk, and Laundry
  • Handling guest complaints effectively and exceeding their expectations
  • Joining daily meetings and collaborating with other hotel teams
  • Ensuring guest rooms are impeccably prepared for arrivals and stayovers
  • Responding to guest requests promptly and proactively
  • Inspecting cleaned guest rooms and public areas to maintain quality standards
  • Reporting maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Putting guests at the center of every task to create extraordinary experiences

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one-year experience in a similar role
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of Dutch and other languages is a plus
  • Prior experience in the Luxury Segment is advantageous
  • Valid Work Permit for The Netherlands
