The ideal candidate is somebody who can help drive the growth of the organization, while being able to maintain a fair balance between optimization and ;In this role, you will be working for a highly dynamic online global retailer who specializes in home and garden goods.
This e-commerce organization has been operating for over 16 years and has an online presence in over 30 ;Responsibilities: International Tax SpecialistReporting directly to the Group Controller, you will be responsible for the global indirect and direct tax processes, including:Taking into account international, regional, and country specific tax developments, you will support medium and long-term tax strategy in conjunction with the evolution of the business;
Interact with external tax advisors on local tax files while building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
Analysis of the impact of global tax developments and trends on the governance and compliance responsibilities of the group;
Implement a global tax control framework and ensure tax compliance for taxes like CIT, VAT, and environmental taxes;
Accurate and timely declarations for direct and indirect taxes like CIT, VAT, and environmental taxes.
International Tax SpecialistIn order to succeed in this role, we ask that you have:
~1+ years of European tax experience at a major and international accounting firm, law firm, or other international organization;
~ Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Tax Law or Tax Economics (or equivalent);
~ Fluent in English, Dutch Preferred;
~ International Tax SpecialistThe salary will be between €4000 and €4500 per month on a full-time basis and will be dependent on the amount of knowledge and experience that you bring to the company. After consulting with you, we will introduce you to our client and then continue to guide you through the application process.
