The Role Overview

The key to delivering an exceptional customer experience lies in the quality of our services. At Knab, we're all about automation, even when it comes to testing. As part of one of our value teams, you'll play a crucial role in building, running, and owning essential components of our customer services.

If you're someone who can handle a Testing framework with ease and is passionate about ensuring top-notch quality, we want you on our team. As a quality Ambassador, you'll take initiative, work independently, and possess coding and scripting skills. You'll be well-versed in the latest technologies, including serverless tech, and ready to assist your colleagues in implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices. At Knab, collaboration and support are at the core of what we do.

  • Collaborate on and execute Testing Framework in a Value Stream;
  • Promote and Support TDD among Software Engineers;
  • Contribute to the Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery pipeline by initiating test cases and sharing results;
  • Engage with other teams and Knab members to foster a culture of learning and teaching;
  • Engage actively in knowledge-sharing activities and platforms.

Your Profile

There's no one-size-fits-all path to becoming a respected Senior QA Engineer at Knab. However, to thrive in this role, here's the ideal profile we have in mind:

  • 5+ years of experience in Test Automation;
  • Deep expertise in your field and the ability to mentor and train colleagues;
  • Proficiency in unit testing, acceptance testing, component testing, and more;
  • Background in Agile environments and Continuous Delivery methodologies;
  • Familiarity with Cloud platforms like AWS or Azure DevOps;
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Specflow/Cucumber (BDD);
  • Proficient in programming and scripting languages (Our tech stack includes C#, JavaScript, Powershell, Bash, Terraform, Postman, Docker, Git) with a willingness to expand your skills;
  • TMAP and/or ISTQB certification.
