Job Description

At ADM Europoort, we work with flour and oil for the food and animal feed industry. Over 325 employees are part of various departments including bulk terminal, crush & extraction factory, refinery, soy protein concentrate (SPC) factory, chemical and microbiological laboratory, maintenance & reliability department, and SHEQ department. In addition, we collaborate with in-house contractors for (industrial) cleaning, scaffolding, insulation work, and technical support.

The ADM Europoort office accommodates commercial and logistics, process automation, CAPEX project management teams, along with payroll, HR, and IT departments.

The Role

An exciting position has opened up for a Performance Excellence Leader within our plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager, key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and leading the evolution of our Performance Excellence System (PE)
  • Ensuring standardization of tools and methods in alignment with the Performance Excellence Pillar House
  • Compliance with safety regulations/standards, promoting a safety culture, and meeting department goals
  • Collaborating with the Plant Leadership Team to align PE activities with strategic objectives
  • Tracking and reporting on cost and savings models to achieve expected savings
  • Guiding and coaching PE Pillar teams in utilizing tools and methodologies effectively
  • Engaging with PE Pillar Teams to ensure adherence to schedules and drive tangible results
The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in production/ Process or Project Management
  • Hands-on experience in Project Execution
  • Problem-solving, critical thinking, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in technology and Management Systems
  • Fluency in Dutch and English
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred)
  • Experience in validated environments like Food, bio-tech, or pharmaceutical industry (a plus)
