Internal Audit Director (m/f/d)

You will lead the Internal Audit Function (IAF) at Redcare Pharmacy N.V, and drive improvements in complex environments. The establishment of a dedicated IAF is a step towards further professionalizing our rapidly expanding company, founded in 2001. We currently serve over 10 million active customers and patients across seven countries in western Europe, with consistent double-digit growth and leading market positions.

The primary focus of the Internal Audit Function is to enhance core business processes, including technology. The Director Internal Audit is in charge of the internal audit plan and its execution, emphasizing best practices in core business processes, as well as reviewing IT, Finance, HR, and governance matters.

Your role involves reporting to the CEO, collaborating closely with the Audit Committee, CFO, and Director Corporate Compliance and Governance. This position can be based in Germany or the Netherlands, with office presence required 2-3 times a week in Cologne or Sevenum.

About the role:

  • Manage the Internal Audit function and drive audits in finance, accounting, operations, IT, HR, and compliance.
  • Assess financial and operational controls, compliance, and prepare clear reports with recommendations.
  • Collaborate across teams to follow up on audit findings and present results to management.
  • Coordinate with risk functions and external auditors to maintain comprehensive risk management.

About you:

  • Bachelor / Masters / MBA with RA, RO, RE, or CIA qualifications.
  • 10+ years of experience including managerial roles, preferably in financial/operational auditing.
  • Experience in technology environments, international exposure, and strong communication skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and fluency in business English.
