We also develop and produce innovate medicines in neuropsychiatry, movement disorders, migraine and respiratory; this internship sits within the EU Commercial Team for innovative medicines.
We can only consider your application if you are currently enrolled and actively studying in a Dutch University and are required by your university to complete an internship.
Also please note that the company will not provide any support for housing if you are from outside the Amsterdam area.
Location: Teva EU HQ office in Amsterdam. Our office will move to Haarlem in June 2024
Duration: Minimum of 5 months
Time: 40 hours a week, but can be negotiated to 32 (4 days a week)
Expected start date: asap
Compensation per month: 500 EU for Bachelor student or 600 EU for Master student
The opportunityThe purpose of this internship is to support the EU Insights Team; contribute to delivering relevant and timely market research results and competitive intelligence to the entire Teva European Commercial business, across different therapy areas. You will report into the EU Insights Director.
How you'll spend your day- Overall, you will share your time between competitive intelligence and market research, with more emphasis on one or the other depending on the weeks and deadlines.
- Competitive Intelligence: you will support our Senior Manager and bring value to our competitive intelligence deliverables:
- Conduct desk research on competitors to understand their strategy and moves (access, commercial, branding strategies and shifts) using social media, web, and proprietary databases; helping us stay informed and ahead of the game
- Support competitive intelligence report development i.e., medical conferences reports: supporting with session summaries, updating clinical trial information, collecting messaging of competition based on conference information etc.
- Market research: you will support the Insights team with project management and fresh thinking:
- Help coordinate market research projects across different innovative drugs: support the material approval process with local affiliates, file documents, take part in meetings with market research agencies to follow fieldwork and overall progress, etc. This will be a great way for you to familiarize with the entire process of a market research project, from kick off to delivery.
- Support the Insights teams' thinking by doing above brand social media sweeps on select topics.
- Minimum completed or ongoing Bachelors' in life sciences or marketing or business or statistics
- Ongoing Masters' in Business Management, Life Sciences or Marketing is highly desirable
- Good analytical and critical thinking skills
- Clear written communication
- Ability to think on your feet, be flexible and meet (short) deadlines
- Fluency in English, both oral and written
- Good PowerPoint skills
- Basic knowledge of market research methodologies a plus
