Who we are seeking

As an Account Executive in our Benelux Team, we are looking for someone to focus on the institutional client segment in the Netherlands. In this position, you will collaborate with our senior sales team to implement a strategic plan that drives business growth in the Netherlands. Responsibilities include expanding the institutional Dutch client base and promoting our range of investment solutions, from fundamental and quantitative active management approaches to efficient indexing strategies for broad exposure to global capital markets. This role offers a hybrid working model, allowing you to balance working from home and the office based on your preferences and role requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen relationships with a portfolio of long-standing clients, creating mutually beneficial relationships for both clients and SSGA
  • Establish and nurture relationships at targeted organizations, leading discussions focused on understanding their distinct situations, challenges, and expectations to shape tailored investment solutions that align with their needs
  • Drive and manage sales processes proactively from prospecting to deal closure, encompassing lead generation, client meetings, prospect evaluations, RFP completion, and negotiation
  • Engage in relevant industry events to stay updated on economic and market changes, investment trends, and shifts in the Dutch regulatory environment
  • Stay informed on competitors, their unique selling points, and competitive advantages using technical and research skills
  • Collaborate and foster relationships with internal teams such as portfolio management, trading, ESG, legal, compliance, and product management

Education & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-7 years of industry experience, preferably in a sales/client-facing position
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Economics, or related fields
