What are you going to do:

As the Oracle Accounting Support Specialist, you'll be the guardian of our finance cloud applications (think Oracle, APRO, RF Smart, and more), ensuring they operate seamlessly and optimally. This role is the backbone of our team. Analysing and resolving raised tickets will be your forte, either by directly assisting users or collaborating with third-party providers. You'll closely collaborate with business stakeholders and solution architects to envision and deploy enhancements to these cloud applications. Moreover, you'll be instrumental in our post-merger integration initiatives, driving the automation of our accounting services. Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support critical applications essential for day-to-day business operations.
  • Provide top-notch support and troubleshooting across all applications.
  • Detect and rectify deviations from ERP system norms, ensuring a flawless application experience.
  • Drive the implementation of financial systems enhancements, aligning with ongoing improvement procedures.
  • Leverage your understanding of business process needs to recommend solutions and applications that optimize operations.
  • Participate in external audits, ensuring regulatory and statutory compliance.
  • Engage in control activities, upholding reporting integrity, including periodic Balance Sheet reconciliations.

What we ask:
  • No minimum education required
  • Hold a qualification, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud, including integration proficiency, is a bonus.
  • Proficiency in Dutch, French, Spanish and/or German is an advantage
